Current Project / 01
Pan African Adolescent Girls Movement
The Pan African Adolescent Girls’ Movement (PAAGM), powered by the Graça Machel Trust, is a continental initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices of adolescent girls across Africa. Through this partnership, DWoSO works to advance gender justice, strengthen girls’ leadership, and create opportunities for young girls to thrive, lead, and shape their futures.

Voices of our Moment
Voices of Our Moment is a podcast series supported by the African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) that creates a platform for women, girls, activists, and community leaders to share stories, experiences, and solutions on issues affecting gender equality and social justice in Ghana and across Africa.

Support My Voice
Support My Voice, supported by CIVICUS, empowers women and young people to actively participate in civic engagement, advocacy, and democratic processes. The project strengthens community voices and promotes inclusive participation in decision-making at local and national levels.

The Ringleaders Project
The Ringleaders Project empowers young girls by developing leadership skills, fostering personal growth, and building self-esteem. It redefines leadership, promoting positive change and ethical leadership principles.

Lead Against Silence
Lead Against Silence, supported by the African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF), works to prevent and respond to gender-based violence by strengthening survivor-centered advocacy, promoting awareness, and empowering communities to challenge harmful norms that enable violence.

The Consent Matters Project
The Consent Matters Project, supported by Amplify Change, addresses sexual violence in Ghana by educating on sexual consent and SRHR. Engaging communities, men, and boys, it promotes a culture of respect through workshops, media, and sustainable mechanisms.

The Women Accelerate Progress (WAP) Project
The Women Accelerate Progress (WAP) Project, funded by the African Women Development Fund, celebrated International Women’s Day with empowering activities across regions, including leadership summits, educational workshops, and online advocacy for gender equality.
