Vote4women is a visibility platform by DWoSO Initiative and Sisters Diary.

empowering women in politics by highlighting their achievements, providing resources, and organizing events to promote gender-balanced representation and leadership.

SustainHER

SustainHER empowers young Ghanaian women entrepreneurs by providing training, technology solutions, and visibility.

It addresses barriers like limited resources, business knowledge, and digital access, fostering sustainable economic growth and gender equality in targeted regions.

GESI Space

GESI Space by DWoSO Initiative used Twitter Space discussions to promote feminism and volunteer capacity building.

Topics included mental well-being, rural women’s roles, young feminists, gender-based violence, and women’s portrayal in media, fostering dialogue and raising awareness on women’s rights and gender equality.

Girls Mentorship

The Girls Mentorship Project by DWoSO empowers basic and junior high school girls, introducing them to feminism, leadership skills, and gender equality.

Involving boys, it fosters support for girls’ rights, challenges norms, and raises awareness about child marriage, promoting an inclusive, equitable future.

Clean Period

The CleanPeriod Menstrual Hygiene Project by DWoSO raises awareness on menstrual health, fights stigma, and educates on sexual and reproductive rights.

It targets students, teachers, and community members, promoting sustainable menstrual products and empowering women to manage their menstrual health with dignity.

WoWASH

WoWASH (Women in WASH Leadership) empowers over 300 rural Ghanaian women in the Central and Western Regions to lead water, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives. 

Through sensitization, training, and advocacy, it promotes gender equality and community development by enhancing women’s roles in WASH leadership.
